Medan, N Sumatra, Dec 9 (ANTARA) - The administration of Langkat district in Indonesia's North Sumatra province has begun preparing a 14.7-hectare land that will be developed into a new tourist resort, an official said here Tuesday. "The new tourist resort will replace the old one in Bukit Lawang village which was devastated by a flash flood last Nov 2," head of Bahorok subdistrict, Jaya Sitepu, said. A hotel, travel lodges and restaurants will be built on the proposed land, also located in Bukit Lawang, he said.
