SEOUL, Dec 10 Asia Pulse - South Korea will be forced to adopt a rice tariff system unless it can be successful in planned negotiations on the opening of the rice market by the end of next year, a scholar said today.
Seo Jin-gyo, a researcher at the state-run Korea Rural Economic Institute, said the government should prepare for the worst-case scenario in the upcoming talks.
