JAKARTA, Dec 10 Asia Pulse - Indonesian President Megawati Soekarnoputri left for Japan last night, where she will stay until Friday.

She was expected to arrive in Japan today and attend the Japan-ASEAN Investment Business seminar in the afternoon.

At the seminar she was scheduled to give a keynote address along with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

After the seminar she was scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Koizumi and in the evening receive 12 foreign ambassadors accredited to Indonesia who are visiting Japan.
