SEOUL, Dec. 10 (Yonhap) -- The Ministry of Culture said Wednesday it has signed a contract to buy the building formerly used as the National Theater of Korea from its owner, the bankrupt Daehan Investment Banking Corp.The ministry signed the contract last Friday to purchase the historic building, which is currently used as an office of the banking company, for 39.95 billion won (US$33.67 million). The former theater, with a floor space of 4,950 square meters in Myeongdong, central Seoul, has been under legal management since the firm went bankrupt in 1999. ...
