PPV Olympics Deals One Step in Long Race

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- NBC and Cablevision Systems Corp. are closer to obtaining distribution of their Pay-Per-View Olympics TripleCast with the announcement last week of several deals.

But with one year left before the games begin, the companies still face an uphill battle.

After almost a year of talks, the companies reached agreement with Viewer's Choice for distribution of the TripleCast, said Jim Heyworth, president of Viewer's Choice.
