Florida company relocates here, opens subsidiary
A Florida cargo transportation firm is relocating its corporate headquarters to San Diego and has opened a subsidiary here.
Alco International, a sea transport firm headquartered in the Miami area, plans to change its focus to the biomedical field. Last month Alco set up a subsidiary, a medical technology firm called Fem Tek Inc., in a temporary La Jolla office.
