Now that he's led his team to the school's first outright state title, Tigard coach Frank Geske is offering some friendly advice to opposing teams.
The Tigers may have a 2,500-yard passer and a 1,000-yard rusher, but there's also that swarming defense that deserves just as much attention, if not more.
That defense stole the show again Saturday in leading No. 5 Tigard to an 18-6 victory over No. 3 North Medford in the OSAA Class 4A football championship before 9,112 at Autzen Stadium.
