THE Welsh rivers are full of salmon at present. All anglers are hoping that the salmon will have good river conditions to spawn and that the high river levels will keep up for a good while. The low water of summer and autumn kept the salmon out at sea and it wasn't until November they really came up river off the tide.
Some Welsh rivers will record their lowest catches of salmon for decades while others have done quite well.
