NEW YORK-Lehman Bros. Holdings' merchant banking division said it purchased a controlling stake in Hunter Fan Co. from Stonebridge Partners and Weston Presidio Capital.

Hunter is a leading maker of ceiling fans under the Hunter Fan and Casablanca Fan brands; markets decorative lighting under the Kenroy, Design Craft and Hunter Lighting brands; and has gained significant market share in home comfort products such as air purifiers, humidifiers and thermostats over the past few years.
