Sustainability is all the buzz these days. From magazine articles to conference sessions to advertisements, green products and practices are receiving unprecedented attention. The design community was first to embrace this growing trend, but facility managers are not far behind. A recent survey conducted by Antron, found that 69 percent of facility managers are implementing green building concepts and 58 percent use or plan to add environmental criteria to vendor and product selection. Looking ahead, an impressive 98 percent believe that sustainability will become even more important in the future.
