INTRODUCTION

Polypropylene (PP) as a thermoplastic is widely used in many fields, such as building materials, furniture, automobiles, the toy industry, and so on. However, its main disadvantage is its poor impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. Therefore, PP is usually modified with elastomers such as ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) to improve its impact strength (1-4).
