Dec. 14--MODEST HOMES COMMANDING HIGHER PRICES: The modest older homes of Park Meadows are commanding high prices, spurred by high-dollar properties that have sprouted up around it in recent years.
"You can get a used one, or you can get a new one for $170,000," says Mark Benoit, a real estate agent with Re/Max 1st Source.
The homes that make up the bulk of the Deer Park subdivision range from $100,000 to $130,000. Most were built from the late 1970s to the early 1980s, although there are a few recently built custom houses that top $200,000. The values are similar ...
