I HAVE always tried to do and write about what I believe in. When President Marcos, shortly after Martial Law was declared, issued PD27 which declared that all rice and corn lands were subject to redistribution to the landless farmers, without hesitation I offered to then Secretary Condring Estrella the surrender of my 316-hectare farm located in Calubian, Leyte which I inherited from my parents.
