TELECOMS group Energis, back from the brink of collapse last year, has called in Dave to reconfigure its brand image, as it competes with BT and Cable & Wireless for business customers.

The initial focus is repositioning work, but a fresh identity and an overhaul of communications materials could be in the offing, as the group is understood to have an open remit.

Energis delisted from the Stock Exchange in July 2002 and was rescued by creditors. The company's business involves running voice and data networks for commercial customers, including call centres and Internet services. Tesco, Royal & SunAlliance and the BBC are among its clients.
