NEIL KINNOCK today launched a blistering attack on "disloyal" Ken Livingstone - insisting he should not be allowed to rejoin the Labour Party.
The former Labour leader timed his assault to cause maximum damage to the Mayor's hopes of becoming the party's official candidate in the London election next June.
Foreign Secretary Jack Straw emerged today as another highlevel opponent of Mr Livingstone's return.
Mr Kinnock said he is " fundamentally and irretrievably against" readmitting the Mayor.
