- Happy anniversary, Chicago Filmmakers! A celebration of Chicago Filmmakers' 30th anniversary will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday in its offices at 5243 N. Clark St., Chicago. Tickets cost $25 ($20 for members, $15 for students) and can be purchased by calling (773) 293-1447. Proceeds will benefit the group's programs. Go to www.chicagofilmmakers.org. The organization was founded in 1973 by experimental filmmakers wanting to create an artist-run weekly movie series.
