Eight companies interested in advising Poland on sell-off of coal producer KHW
Warsaw. December 12. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Eight companies placed bids to advise Poland's State Treasury on the privatization of coal-production group Katowicki Holding Weglowy (KHW), the ministry said in a statement issued Friday.
The ministry, which had called the tender on October 22, did not make any further statement.
The adviser will be tasked with preparing a valuation analysis of the company, a privatization strategy and other tasks leading to the sell-off of at least a 10% stake by the fourth quarter of 2004.
