TRANSPORT watchdogs have criticised Wales' bus and train operators for leaving shoppers and other travellers without public transport on Boxing Day.
With post-Christmas sales now kicking off in many shops on December 26, the official rail watchdog said the lack of public transport could result in accidents as people who had been drinking heavily on Christmas Day got behind the steering wheel.
