Recent surveys have shown that Americans are increasingly disenchanted with the country's health care system. A recent poll by ABC News showed that 60% surveyed were not satisfied with the quality of health care in the U.S.
But making things better may rest more in the hands of patients than the doctors, nurses, hospitals and other health care providers.
Mississippi is one of 10 places in the country where brainstorming sessions are being held for a national project facilitated by the Wye River Group on Healthcare to discuss the principles and values that should become the foundation of revamping the health care system in our country.
