Salt Lake City--The MARRIOTT DOWNTOWN HOTEL received the 2003 Gold Key Award presented by Meetings and Conventions magazine. All winners of the recognition were nominated by readers of the publication based on overall professionalism and quality of the property.
Park City--CAPITAL GROWTH PARTNERS, a real-estate development company, has acquired UNITED PARK CITY MINES CO., a silver mining company for over 100 years until it became a real estate company in 1982. Although a portion of United Park City Mines Co. is leased to resorts in the area, the sale of the company will not affect ski access for the resorts.
