Local needs addressed by Sav-on
ANAHEIM, Calif.--Managing the Sav-on group of drug stores in the American Drug Stores chain is both similar to and different from running Osco Drug operations, says Dick Davis, who is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Sav-on.
Like Osco outlets, the 224 Sav-on stores in three states (168 in California, 37 in Arizona and 19 in Nevada) are concerned with meeting the basic drug store needs of the people who live and shop in the vicinity of the stores.
