Gas prices for Ukrainian industry to rise 19% in 2004
Kyiv, 16 December (Interfax-Ukraine) - Starting on 1 January next year, Ukraine's Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to increase the price of gas for industrial consumers by 19% - from UAH 276.25 to UAH 328.4 per 1,000 cubic meters (not including VAT)).
Interfax-Ukraine learned on 16 December that the increase is confirmed by a company order (No540) of 1 December 2003. According to this order, companies that don't pay VAT will pay UAH 394.08 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas.
