GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND, Bahamas, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, the weather in the New York metro area will be a chilly 29 degrees this December. Beginning Dec. 17, 2003, travelers can escape the New York holiday hustle and bustle and enjoy the warm 85 degrees weather on Grand Bahama Island with a quick, new direct flight on Continental Airlines.
Offering travelers a daily, non-stop flight between Newark, New Jersey and Grand Bahama Island, this new service will launch on Dec. 17, 2003. Continental Express' 50-seat EMBRAER ERJ-145 aircraft will service the route.
