SAN DIEGO--Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force service members, with permanent change of station or contingency deployment orders, may now use the Naval Station San Diego Privately Owned Vehicle Processing Site to make vehicle storage arrangements or to ship their car to overseas points.
According to Wayne Franklin, Director of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center's Personal Property Shipping Office, American Auto Logistics, under contract to the Military Sealift Command, opened the San Diego site so local service members who need to ship their car to or from overseas would not have to drive to the Los Angeles Vehicle Processing Center to drop off or pick up their ...
