The National Geographic map office in Evergreen is so obscure, some employees at the U.S. Geological Survey library in Denver have never heard of it.
"Don't you mean National Geographic maps in Washington, D.C.?" one librarian asked.
The Evergreen branch of the National Geographic Society is part of the 115- year-old nonprofit organization's effort to expand its business.
