Brussels -- FORATOM, the trade association for the nuclear energy industry in Europe, has elected a new President to take over from Francis Tetreau, of France, as of 1st January 2004. The change in leadership comes at a crucial time for the industry world-wide, with Finland, France, South Africa and the US planning to restart the construction of new nuclear power plants.
