Dec. 17--PharmaNetics, which develops blood-testing technology, said it is trying to sell its manufacturing operations to stay in business and finance a lawsuit filed last month against French drug maker Aventis.
The Morrisville-based company said late Monday it has talked to potential buyers that would take over the assets and workers from its blood-test manufacturing unit, which employs about half of PharmaNetics' 80 workers. The company wouldn't estimate how much money it could raise from the sale of the unit.
