Logitech Inc. is offering a free copy of Digital Darkroom with its new ScanMan Model 32 hand-held scanner for the Mac. Digital Darkroom (version 2.0) is an image editing package from Silicon Beach, a subsidiary of Aldus Corp. The two products, which would retail separately for $849 ($499 for the scanner, $395 for the software), are being offered for $499. The bundle, available from mid-August through December, also includes Logitech's ScanMan plug-in software that allows users to scan images from within Digital Darkroom.
