ATLANTA -- What better place to open the new Bobby Jones prototype store than in the city where the great golfer was born, lived and is buried.
Bobby Jones, the sportswear division of Hickey-Freeman, officially opened the 1,287-square-foot store at Lenox Square here on Dec. 6, just in time for holiday gift shopping.
Bob Jones 4th, grandson of the legendary golfer, was on hand for the ribbon-cutting, as was his grandson Devon, who portrays the golfer as a little boy in the movie The Stroke of Genius, scheduled to premiere March 15 (Bobby Jones' birthday), 2004, at Atlanta's Fox Theater.
