Dec. 18--STURTEVANT, Wis.--Racine County's manufacturing sector will get a slight but needed boost in April when a new aerosol can manufacturing plant with 40 jobs begins production.
BWAY Corp., a company with headquarters in Atlanta that manufactures cans, pails and drums, wanted to expand the number of can plants it operates in the Midwest from three to four because close to 60 percent of aerosol cans are filled in the region, said Jeff O'Connell, BWAY's vice president. The company already operates plants in Chicago and Cincinnati.
