ISLAMABAD, December 17 (PPI) A Civil Court of the federal capital would take up on Thursday (today) an appeal filed by the former Pakistani prisoner in Guantanamo Bay, Muhammad Sagheer, in which he has called for 10.4 million in compensation to the U.S Government. Earlier, on November 5, the Court had issued notices to the U.S authorities on the appeal. Muhammad Sagheer was freed from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, during November last. He was the first Pakistani released from the prison currently holding about 600 inmates.
