It's not the only place in Syracuse to buy doughnuts, but you might have thought so if you drove by the area's first Krispy Kreme Doughnuts shop when it opened Wednesday morning.
About 75 people were waiting in line - in the dark, as a light rain fell - when Krispy Kreme's doors swung open at 5:30 a.m.
You read that right. People waited in line at 5:30 in the morning for doughnuts.
But they weren't just any doughnuts. They were hot, fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
