When young people endeavor to do something responsible, do something positive, adults should back them up -- not tear them down.
On Friday, Dec. 12, Memorial High School was scheduled to hold an AIDS benefit concert, but this never happened.
Originally thought of by Memorial senior Ike Sriskandarajah and planned through the school's volunteer club, Spartan Youth Service, the benefit concert was planned for over two months. Sriskandarajah took up a large portion of the duties, like contacting and booking hip-hop and indie rock bands such as the Crest, Juiceboxxx and Doom Buggy.
