LANSING, Mich., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Michigan Teamsters applaud the Legislature for passing Senate Bill 474, which -- when signed by the Governor -- will for the first time put regulation for Michigan's payday advance industry on the books.
"The Teamsters would like to thank the Michigan Senate and House for passing responsible legislation to regulate the payday advance industry and protect consumers," said Bill Black, director of Michigan Teamsters DRIVE.
