Clinton Portis was able to accelerate with power and speed Tuesday, but it was at the controls of a video car-racing game, not off his injured right leg.
When he'll be able to exhibit the same qualities on the football field remains anyone's guess.
During an appearance at the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club, the running back engaged children in an Xbox tournament featuring the video game Project Gotham Racing 2, which the running back promotes. He did national interviews with ESPN, CNN and Fox Sports Net to push the product.
