Dear J.P.: The Inside Passage runs north from the Canadian Border to the Gulf of Alaska. The scenery is spectacular: mountains, fjords, glaciers and attractive communities that bear the influence of the Russian colonization and/or the days of the great Gold Rush.
The main attraction is the glaciers. When the ice crashes into the sea it makes a loud cracking sound that echoes for miles.
