GTCR Golder Rauner (GTCR), one of the nation's leading private equity firms, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell CuraScript Pharmacy, Inc. and CuraScript PBM Services, Inc. (collectively, CuraScript) to Express Scripts, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESRX) for approximately $335 million in cash. The transaction, which is expected to close early in 2004, is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. JP Morgan served as financial advisor to CuraScript; Kirkland & Ellis provided legal counsel.
