Jakarta, Dec 19 (ANTARA) - K.H Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, Chairman of the Indonesian Council of Mujahidin, has lodged an appeal to the Supreme Court (MA) to correct an earlier decision meted out by the Jakarta High Court of Justice against himself. The Jakarta High Court of Justice has imposed a three-year jail term upon Abu Bakar Ba'asyir which is more lenient than the four years' imprisonment decided against the Moslem cleric by the Central Jakarta District Court. KH Abu Bakar Ba'asyir was proven guilty by the Central Jakarta District Court of violating the Indonesian immigration law by moving to Malaysia illegally.
