Dec. 23--CAMERA STORE FOCUSES ON BIGGER SPACE: Samy's Camera has signed the largest office and retail space lease of the year in Santa Barbara, said Francois DeJohn of Blair Hayes Commercial Real Estate.
The company leased 20,615 square feet of space at 614 Chapala St. That's about four times the size of its current location at 910 E. Haley St. and says a lot about the health of its photography business.
