Dec. 23--Fairies aren't just for little girls anymore.
The fairy fad -- fueled by movies such as "The Lord of Rings" trilogy and the latest version of "Peter Pan" -- has reached a high point in Fresno. Women in their 20s to 50s are buying up fairy figurines, cards, prints and jewelry.
Their popularity has brought fairy-seekers and more business stores such as Sierra Nut House and Karen's Keepsakes.
