Two major cable-equipment vendors have made some changes at the top. Set-top supplier Pace Micro Technology has named Michael Pulli president of Pace Americas, while Internet-protocol telephony vendor Cedar Point Communications Inc. has named Andy Paff president and CEO.
"Telephony clearly is one of the next growth areas for the industry," said Paff, who joins CedarPoint from Broadband Services Inc. "CedarPoint has built a [voice-over-Interact protocol] switching product that's really designed for the cable-operator business."
Pulli's tasks will include rollout of Pace's DC550HD HDTV set-top.
