Superstar Michael Jackson, who recently was booked on suspicion of child molestation in Santa Barbara, CA, posted $3 million bail and gave up his passport.
Jackson, 45, smiled and waved to reporters and fans and flashed a V-sign as he left the Santa Barbara County Jail in a black Suburban escorted by three sheriff's motorcycle officers.
Defense attorney Mark Geragos said: "He's come back specifically to confront these charges head-on. He is greatly outraged by the bringing of these charges. He considers this to be a big lie."
Jackson released a statement issued by a spokesman, Stuart Backerman, which stated in part:
