2003 DEC 29 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Pamidronate is a potent inhibitor of Ewing sarcoma cell growth in vitro, researchers report.
According to recent research published in the journal Anticancer Drugs, "The MTT assay was used to measure the effects of pamidronate, clodronate and mevastatin on the cell viability of Ewing's sarcoma cell lines 6647, CADO-ES-1, ES-2, ES-3, RD-ES, SK-ES-1, STA-ET-2.1 and VH-64.
