ISLAMABAD, December 24: An ex-Guantanamo Bay prisoner, Muhammad Sagheer Wednesday filed an appeal in the Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) in which he has called for US 10 million from USA in compensation for his innumerable sufferings as he was detained illegally and later declared innocent. Sagheer was freed from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in November 2003, the first Pakistani released from the prison currently holding about 600 inmates.
