While it may be said that form follows function, the most forward lighting designs reflect at the very least, an equal emphasis on form. Look out for styles that bring shape to the forefront, whether short and squat or elongated and tapered. Think outside of the box--non-traditional lighting forms add a refreshing element of surprise and newness to the category as a whole.
