Renaissance chief won't give proposal affirmative reaction
There are early signs of opposition in Detroit's business community to Ward Connerly's anti-affirmative-action campaign.
The executive committee of Detroit Renaissance Inc. has recommended that its board oppose an amendment to the state constitution being championed by Connerly. Directors are looking at the issue, said Renaissance President Paul Hillegonds.
