Dec. 29--HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.-"Oh, I love this song," said Trish Murdy, her right hand shooting up in the air. In her left hand she gripped a pool cue.
Her blue eyes, under a canopy of charcoal-shadowed lids, brightened as she dropped her hand down to her waist and strummed imaginary guitar strings. Her hips swayed gently, side to side.
It was a recent Saturday evening in downtown Huntington Beach -- after the daytime shopping rush but before the late-night bar cheer. Murdy, admittedly, was a little buzzed.
