High performance coatings are multi-layered systems applied to panel surfaces by roller coating technology and cured by ultra-violet energy. They are also the speciality of Treffert GmbH & Co KG, originally a German company, now headquartered in Singapore under Treffert Holdings International Pte Ltd.
The story of the Treffert company began in 1937 in Alzenau, a short distance from Frankfurt. Today the company still has production facilities there, but also has plants in China, Malaysia and the US. It has technical offices in Indonesia and Thailand. The company turned over 35m [euro] in 2001, with a staff of 180 globally.
