2004 JAN 5 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Depomed, Inc., (DMI) and Biovail Corporation (BVF) announced positive top line results from the second pivotal phase III clinical trial of Metformin GR, a once daily, extended release formulation of the leading diabetes drug metformin based on Depomed's proprietary Gastric Retention (GR) drug delivery system.
