TREND: Housing will continue to be strong in all regions this year. But luxury sales are slackening to normal, says analyst Michael Cannon of Integra Realty Resources. With south Florida land scarce, more condos are in the works, including suburban units offering Everglades sunset views. Single-family builders are looking north. "We're seeing an enormous land grab going on on the Treasure Coast," says American MetroStudy's analyst Brad Hunter. Home starts are expected to boom in Orlando and Tampa Bay.
